Nestled in midtown Omaha, the Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association (EPNA) has a long history. The neighborhood association started as the Citizens Action Committee in the early 1970's to prevent the University of Nebraska at Omaha from taking any more homes. Frances Batt was instrumental in helping us unite to preserve our neighborhood. EPNA is a member of the Midtown Neighborhood Association and works with other neighborhoods on issues affecting our area. We currently hold meetings quarterly, the third Tuesday in February, May, August, and November. We have been meeting at the UNO Alumni House and 66th & Dodge.
